Luc Pelland, MBA

Luc has a strong background in operation management, sales, marketing and supply management and extensive expertise in the construction industry (including fabrication. construction and distribution).  Luc’s exceptional interpersonal skills and winning attitude have helped him inspire operational excellence within all of the organizations with which he has been associated.

A graduate of Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC-BAA) and the University of Sherbrooke (MBA), Luc has over 35 years experience, including 20 years in the positions of General Manager, Vice President and President of large firms.  During the last 9 years, Luc has worked for the Canam Group, successively as Vice President Purchasing, President of Solicor and President Structal heavy steel construction.

Luc has worked in different environments with conditions that required significant restructuring or reorganization with hard earned experience in:

• Product development,
• Market development (North America & China),
• Sales and profit management,
• Cost reorganization,
• Supplier relationships, and
• Mega-project management.

Parallel to these activities, Luc was a member of Precarn Board from 2006 to 2009 and is actively involved since 2007 in a philanthropic organization that helps children with learning disabilities.
