Samir is a professional executive with over 35 years of hands-on industry and consulting experience. His expertise includes Operations and Supply Chain Management, international projects management, Business Planning and Transformation, ERP Implementation.

Samir spent most of his career in senior management staff and executive positions within manufacturing, distribution and services companies. He held the position of Plant Manger, General Manager and Vice- President with Alstom T&D, R&M MetalTech (now Solectron) and Relizon Canada where he developed a strong reputation for achieving tangible results and delivering on his commitments.

As Principal with The Coopers & Lybrand Consulting Group and Ernst & Young Consulting, Samir worked with numerous clients in Canada, the US, the Caribbean, Mexico and Africa to develop and implement business improvement and transformation initiatives.

He founded Alstrat Canada, a professional services firm that focuses on delivering measurable value and results for its clients to grow revenues, reduce costs, and improve cash flow. He most recently completed a 2-year engagement as VP Supply Chain and VP Operations with Nuera Air, a manufacturer of central vacuum systems serving world markets with Canadian and Asian manufacturing capabilities. He is currently engaged on a long term contract with the International Business Service Center of a Development Agency helping companies improve their supply chain process to improve competitiveness on the world markets.


Samir is a Graduate in Industrial Engineering and Management from École Poytechnique and École des H.E.C. de l’Université de Montréal.
