John Naismith
John is a versatile senior executive with over 35 years of experience at IBM Canada Ltd. and C-MAC Industries. He is currently working on a mandate with Sanmina-SCI Corporation
John’s experience includes: general management of large and complex electronics manufacturing organizations; global supply chain management; change management; start-up of “Greenfield Manufacturing Operations”; and all aspects of mergers and acquisitions.
John’s benchmark achievements include:
- Establishment of global supply chain organizations and processes in over 30 different regions of the world;
- Development of inventory management practices and supply chain systems that turned costs into significant profits;
- Negotiation and integration of over 40 acquisitions; and
- The successful launch of a major Canadian corporation on the New York Stock Exchange.
John has a Graduate degree in Metallurgy as well as numerous awards for excellence in manufacturing and supply chain management.
