Alan R. Curleigh

Mr. Curleigh has a wealth of experience in international contracting earned as a senior executive and board member of an international engineering contracting company engaged in capital project work.

Drawing from his experience, Mr. Curleigh speaks extensively on Board topics such as Governance, Board Duties and Responsibilities and Board / Board Member Effectiveness.

Mr. Curleigh is the past Chair of a major Federal Crown Corporation engaged in international procurement and contracting and is past Chair of Canada’s largest industry association.

Mr. Curleigh presently:

• Chair’s the Board of PyroGenesis Canada Inc., an environmental company which provides advanced waste management systems using patented high temperature plasma technology;
• Is the Strategic Advisor to the CEO of a financial institution engaged in export credit financing;
• Chair’s a major Canadian Federal Government Departmental Audit Committee;
• Provides strategic advice to Canada’s largest publicly traded infrastructure construction company; and
• Is a visiting Faculty Member at the Directors College, Canada’s premier governance college.
